Recognizing the financial difficulties facing Alliance for Children and Families members this year, the Alliance committed to making available as much information from the 2009 Alliance National Conference as possible.

The post-conference website became active just days after the Alliance National Conference concluded. It contains presentations, resource links, and photos. (Photos can also be accessed through the Alliance's Facebook page.)
“While the online resources can’t entirely match the power and energy of the conference, we know that many of our members would have liked to join us in Houston and simply were unable due to unprecedented budget constraints,” says Elizabeth Carey, senior vice president and COO at the Alliance.
She adds, “We want members to understand that we are aware of these challenges, and are committed to finding new ways of providing knowledge and solutions to members. Now is when members most benefit from the power and expertise of the Alliance peer network.”
One of those new strategies involves adapting some of the best content from the Alliance National Conference so that it can be taken to new venues and to deeper levels in 2010. Stay tuned to the Alliance website for more information.
