Future Efforts Require Replenished Seed Fund

Funded entirely by donations rather than general Alliance operating funds, the Intellectual Capital Seed Fund must surpass its $150,000 floor in order to fund future projects of significance to the nonprofit human services sector. (See main article for more information about the Intellectual Capital Seed Fund.)

Neuroscience Impact on Human Services

The Alliance has published a series of three reports that examine how advancements in neuroscience will impact the ability of nonprofit human service providers to organize and deliver future behavioral health services. The reports are available as
downloadable PDFs.

Donations to and questions about the fund can be made by contacting Patrice A. Heinz, director of resource development for the Alliance, at 202-429-0400, ext. 17.

Support from the following parties has made possible the first dispersal of funds: Duncan Campbell; Doris H. Chortek, a member of the Alliance Development Committee; Greater Milwaukee Foundation; Len P. Iaquinta, a member of the Alliance Development Committee and Resource Development Services Advisory Committee; and Joseph M. Reibman, a member of the Alliance Board of Directors and the Strategic Positioning Committee.
