Part of a Greater Whole

JF&CS rooted in an interdependent community

Alliance for Children and Families member Jewish Family & Career Services (JF&CS), Atlanta, provides comprehensive programs to help meet the challenges of daily life for both Jewish and non-Jewish individuals, families, and communities.

The organization’s services include programs for older adults, individuals with disabilities, and children and youth. JF&CS also provides career counseling and life coaching to help individuals enhance their professional and personal lives. Its employee assistance program is part of the provider network of FEI Behavioral Health, an Alliance sister company.

Through its many programs, JF&CS serves approximately 30,000 individuals each year, operating with a budget of about $13.8 million. The organization is stewarded by a 33-member board of directors.

JF&CS recognizes its membership in and inter-dependence with the broader Atlanta community and actively engages in collaborative efforts with organizations, community groups, and synagogues to provide off-site, community-based services. Its ability to provide comprehensive health and human services to patients of its Ben Massell Dental Clinic (read the companion article) depends on this connectedness.
